Arcade Fire - The Suburbs
This is being billed as the album of the year even a week before its (UK) release - so the race is on: Which Oddfellow will post the first review?

Duly noted, thanks.

Best album of 2010 for me so far is Cosmic Egg. SO AWESOME

Re: Arcade Fire - The Suburbs
Neon Bible was billed as the album of the year when that came out and it was a crushing disappointment. From what little I've heard Mr Butler still seems to have spent too much time with his Springsteen collection.

Ah. I guess that depends to some degree on which particular Springsteen we are talking about, but I can see the dangers...

Re: Arcade Fire - The Suburbs
Arcade Fire now seem to have become an arm of the Google Chrome marketing machine.

That website is truly awesome. I put in a certain address and got a lump in my throat.

Re: Arcade Fire - The Suburbs
Also HTML5 is a standards-based much better replacement for things like Flash, Shockwave, etc.etc.
